ROSEMARY BEACH — February 7, 2026 — Saints Cosmas and Damian Health Sciences College proudly awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) diploma on February 7.
The MD diploma was presented to Dennis L. Ortiz, DO, MD, by Dean of Medicine Nick S. Pomonis, DO, MD, and Vice-Chancellor Bruce D. White, DO, JD, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Michael D. Williams, DO, MD, during a continuing education program in Rosemary Beach, Florida.
This milestone marks the launch of Saints Cosmas and Damian Health Science College’s MD pathway, which allows physicians with a DO to earn an internationally recognized Doctor of Medicine (MD) equivalency.
