Get the Recognition You Deserve with Our DO Pathway

MD to DO

Our DO pathway is designed for US MD graduates seeking the acknowledgment they have earned. Patients are confused about qualifications. The time has come for fairness for those who are equals.

A New Pathway for Qualified US Doctor of Medicine (MD) Graduates to Obtain their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Diploma or Certificate of Equivalency with Minimum Hassle and at Nominal Cost

A Message From the Dean

As a Doctor of Medicine (MD), all recognize your strong commitment to excellence in medicine. However, you might consider expanding available opportunities by establishing equivalency with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) qualification. The DO philosophy offers a unique and holistic approach to health care, integrating the body’s musculoskeletal system with a deeper understanding of overall health and wellness.

This additional qualification enhances your ability to address both symptoms and root causes of health conditions, providing more comprehensive care for your patients. The osteopathic principals of preventive medicine and the emphasis on patient-centered care align closely with the evolving needs of the modern health care system. By showing DO equivalence you can further diversity your clinical toolkit, perhaps making you more adaptable and effective in a variety of medical settings.

Moreover, the DO qualification may open the door more widely to numerous opportunities for collaboration with a broader range of health care professionals and positions. As you continue to shape the future of medicine, adding this qualification will not only enrich your own professional journey, but may also elevate the care you provide.

Sincerely,

Nick S. Pomonis, DO, MD, FAAFP

Dean
